PVD Mid-Career Award & Lecture

• Applicants must be an active member of the PVD Council.
• Qualified candidates may include those above the fellow-in-training level or an assistant/associate professor who has not yet achieved full professor.
• The member’s science should represent advanced research and scientific knowledge in the PVD field.

Current members of the PVD Nominating Committee are not eligible to apply for or be nominated for the award.

The nomination file should contain the following documents in PDF format:

1. A letter of nomination or candidate statement (if self-nominating), drafted on electronic letterhead with a signature. The letter should outline and provide clear examples of how the candidate meets the criteria.
2. The candidate’s curriculum vitae, including bibliography.

The honoree will receive:

• Complimentary registration to the Vascular Discovery: From Genes to Medicine Scientific Sessions
• Two (2) complimentary tickets to the Vascular Discovery Council Celebration
• An engraved plaque
• $1,000 Travel Stipend
