AHA, ACC redefine guideline processes

In a historic move, the AHA and the American College of Cardiology (ACC) re-visited their 30-year partnership of jointly producing clinical practice guidelines for the cardiovascular community. Leaders from the AHA and the ACC met in a series of meetings to establish a vision and a set of optimal processes for an ideal guideline that ensure our guidelines are trustworthy, timely, and accessible and address current and future audience needs.
