2022-2023 NHLCC Scholars Mentorship Application

The American Heart Association invites you to apply for an exciting mentoring opportunity through the newly formed National Hispanic Latino Cardiovascular Collaborative (NHLCC) taking place during the AHA Scientific Sessions in Chicago, Illinois this November 5–7.

In order to advance its mission to promote the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases and stroke in the Hispanic/Latino community by reducing and eliminating health disparities that prevent people from living a full, optimal life, the American Heart Association’s National Hispanic Latino Cardiovascular Collaborative (NHLCC) believes that it is critical to engage health professions students and early-career investigators in networking, mentorship, and sponsorship opportunities to grow and diversify the future healthcare workforce.

To that end, the NHLCC is launching the NHLCC Scholars mentoring program centered around AHA’s annual Scientific Sessions conference. NHLCC is seeking applications from Hispanic/Latino health professions students in the United States. The student application can be accessed below.
