Welcome to the Council on the Kidney in Cardiovascular Disease (KCVD). Our Council is committed to advancing the understanding of the complex interactions between the kidney and the cardiovascular system through scientific excellence, collaboration, education, and advocacy. As an integral part of the American Heart Association, we bring together basic, translational, clinical, and population scientists, as well as healthcare professionals, to accelerate discoveries that improve cardiovascular and kidney health.
