Getting to Houston

  • George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) – Hub for United Airlines. About 19 miles / 35 minutes from the Convention Center.
  • William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) – Major hub for Southwest Airlines. About 10 miles / 25 minutes from the Convention Center.
  • Amtrak – Take the train to Houston's new station at 902 Washington Avenue. About 10 miles / 10 minutes from the Convention Center.



Getting Around Houston

  • Rideshare Apps – Check the Houston Airports website (Apple and Android links above) for pickup locations at your terminal.
  • Taxis – There are multiple taxi companies in Houston. Rides from Bush Airport to downtown cost around $60. Fares from Hobby Airport to downtown are about $30.
  • Car Rental – Available from either airport. Please know that Houston traffic can be intimidating.
  • Hotel Shuttles – Request yours from the specialized kiosks near the baggage claim.
