This document aims to present new measures to evaluate the care of patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS) in accordance with the 2026 Guideline for the Early Management of Patients With Acute Ischemic Stroke: A Guideline From the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. This document helps accomplish the Heart Association’s mission of being a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives.
