Richard D. Remington Methodology Lecture

The Richard D. Remington Methodology Lecture was established in 1994 to honor Richard Delleraine Remington, PhD, former Chair of the Council on Epidemiology and Prevention and recipient of the American Heart Association's Gold Heart Award and Award of Merit. Presented in alternating years with the Frederick H. Epstein Memorial Lecture as part of the American Heart Association's EPI|Lifestyle Scientific Sessions, the Remington Lecture recognizes scientists whose innovative methodological contributions have strengthened epidemiologic research and enhanced our understanding of cardiovascular disease prevention. Through this lectureship, the Council celebrates excellence in epidemiologic methods, biostatistics, population health research, and the translation of scientific evidence into public health practice.

Current members of the Council on Epidemiology and Prevention Leadership Committee and Nominating Committee are not eligible for nomination.
