Applications are closed and will reopen in November 2020

The Alan T. Hirsch, MD Mid-Career Award in Vascular Medicine encourages and supports the efforts of peripheral vascular disease investigators who are at mid-career level. The purpose of this award is to encourage participation in the Council on Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD) and AHA activities by providing travel funds to attend the Vascular Discovery: From Genes to Medicine Scientific Sessions, present research in oral or poster format, and engage in discussion with senior investigators.

Applicants must:

  • Be a member of the Council on Peripheral Vascular Disease (member number required to complete award application).
  • Be an associate professor.
  • Must be actively involved in research related to peripheral vascular disease (artery or venous).
  • Be accepted for oral or poster presentation at Vascular Discovery Scientific Sessions.
