Alexander S. Nadas Lecture

Sponsored by the Council on Cardiovascular Disease in the Young

This lecture was established in 1986 by the Council on Cardiovascular Disease in the Young to honor Dr. Nadas, who is recognized as one of the pioneers of pediatric cardiology. Dr. Nadas is known for his teaching of fellows. Both directly and indirectly through those he has trained, he is responsible for many of the advances that have made pediatric cardiology in the U.S. second to none. He was an active supporter of AHA and the Council on Cardiovascular Disease in the Young for many years.
