  • AHA's Got Talent: Perfecting Your 3-Minute Elevator Speech — Perfect your "3 minute elevator speech" in this competition hosted by the AHA QCOR Council! Judges will be assigned to each group to help give ideas and facilitate before the contestants compete.
     
  • Launch your Cardiology Career! A Heart Team Approach to Developing a Productive and Engaging Practice — This session will feature a panel of renowned clinical cardiologists across the breadth of cardiovascular medicine sub-specialties who will discuss their choice of career, options for clinical practice in both primary and academic settings, how to define a clinical niche once in practice, how to collaborate within and across institutions, building efficiency, mentorship in clinical practice, negotiating for first job contract, and/or key challenges early in clinical practice.   • Your Passion, Your Career, Your Growth – Practical Advice from Mentors for The Fundamentals and Beyond — This interactive session has been specifically developed for Early Career and Fellow-in-Training attendees addressing the following key areas - Mentorship, Clinical Practice, Teaching, Research, Leadership and Self Development. Join the interactive panel discussions to further explore these topics across speakers and engage in Q&A audience response.
     
  • Working Across the Aisle – Collaborating with Industry and Alternate Career Pathways — The goals of this early career session will be three fold: 1. To educate the importance and history of career in industry and how it helped translating science from bench to bedside. 2. To learn about various available pathways for scientists and health care providers in industry. 3. To navigate conflicts of interests and governing principles while working in industry.
