Group Registration – Scientific Sessions

Important: Group Registration Pricing for 2022 Scientific Sessions is $495 per registrant with a minimum of 40 registrants.

If you are not the Primary Contact representing a group, then you cannot continue.

Early Bird Group Registration

Templates for approval must be received by October 7, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time.

Fee: None

Group Registration after Oct. 7, 2022

Templates received after October 7, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time will incur a late submission fee.

Late Fee: $150

Group Registration after Oct. 21, 2022

Templates received after October 21, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. Central Time will incur a higher late fee.

Late Fee: $250

Group Registration Process

  • If you are planning on registering 40 or people for American Heart Scientific Sessions 2022, please submit a request using the form at the bottom of the page to receive the group registration template and further instructions. You will receive a notification that your submission has been received.

  • Group Registration team will review your group registration template and respond back to you with any questions and or next steps.
    • Please note: any group registration templates with fewer than 40 names will be rejected and sent back.

  • Primary Contacts do not automatically receive a badge. If you are attending American Heart Association Scientific Sessions 2022, YOU MUST ADD YOURSELF TO THE REGISTRATION TEMPLATE!

  • Data will appear exactly as submitted.
    • Use title case. Do not enter data using all capital letter or all lower-case letters.

  • If you are also a meeting planner for an exhibiting company, you will be sent a separate registration link for Exhibitors registration. 

  • Once you have 40 or more registrants added to the group registration template you can submit your group registration template for processing.

  • Group badges will no longer be pre-printed. Each person will have to show proof of vaccination before picking up their badge. Please see below for complete Scientific Sessions Protocols. 

Health Protocols

All attendees should abide by the American Heart Association's Scientific Sessions Health Protocols. 


  • Cancellations must be received by CDS in writing by Friday October 5, 2022, midnight EST to receive a refund less $75 processing fee. Cancellation requests received after Friday, October 5, 2022, midnight ET will not be refunded.

  • Ticketed events are non-refundable. 

  • No refunds will be issued until 7–15 days post event.

  • Refund requests must be sent in writing to [email protected] Telephone requests are not accepted.

  • Refunds will not be processed for individuals that registered for the event but did not attend.

  • Donations to American Heart Association are non-refundable.

  • American Heart Association is not liable for travel carrier cancellations or other unforeseen incidents beyond American Heart Association or the registrant's control. All attendees are encouraged to purchase travel insurance.


  • Substitutions are allowed but the registration type will not change.

  • Substitutions are only allowed for equal type registrations (i.e., Nurse to Nurse, Member to Member, Nonmember to Nonmember).

  • A $25 fee will apply per substitution.
