Stroke Tweet Chat: Managing Minor Stroke

Stroke is excited to announce a Tweet Chat on the management of minor stroke.

Please join Stroke Social Media Editor Dr. Juan F. Arenillas and Dr. David S. Liebeskind for a stimulating discussion on diagnostic strategies to guide acute management of minor stroke, assessing early recurrence risk, and individualizing secondary prevention in the early phase after a minor stroke or TIA.

Neurologists, neuroradiologists, neurointerventionalists, and others involved in acute stroke care are invited to participate in a discussion that will include important concepts such as the role of intravenous thrombolysis and endovascular therapy in this group of patients, especially in those patients with a large-artery occlusion showing mild clinical deficits. Whether there is a need to have safer thrombolytic drugs and more potent antiplatelet drugs or regimes for minor stroke and TIA patients will also be discussed.

Date: Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017
Time: 2–3 p.m. EST
