Circulation: Cardiovascular Quality and Outcomes Global Cardiovascular Health Disparities Special Issue

The editors of Circulation: Cardiovascular Quality and Outcomes are pleased to share our Global Cardiovascular Health Disparities special issue. This issue is focused exclusively on articles highlighting cardiovascular health–related challenges outside of the United States, with a specific focus on disparities. As cardiovascular diseases represent the most common cause of death worldwide, it is our belief that publishing research in global health can continue to shed light on this problem and help prioritize its importance to policymakers.

Editor-in-Chief, Brahmajee K. Nallamothu, writes in his Editor’s Perspective: “If you are based in the United States, I hope you will spend some time appreciating the exciting research being done abroad—and even be inspired by it. If you are abroad, I hope you’ll continue to send us outstanding manuscripts to evaluate like those represented in this month’s issue.”
