From Circulation Research: Compendium on Stroke
New Circulation Research Compendium on Stroke
The editors of Circulation Research are pleased to announce a new Compendium on Stroke, edited by Marc Fisher, Costantino Iadecola, & Ralph Sacco. This Compendium is free to read through the end of February.
In addition, upcoming issues of the journal will include Compendia on Congenital Heart Disease, edited by Ali J. Marian, and Cardiomyopathies, edited by Eugene Braunwald.

Stop by ASA/AHA HeadQuarters (#233) or Wolters Kluwer (#402) in the Science & Technology Hall for a free copy of the Stroke Compendium (while supplies last).
Each Compendium is a collection of articles with a strong thematic focus on specific cardiovascular diseases or pathological conditions, discussing the major issues related to specific disease conditions, how these issues are being addressed in the laboratory and in the clinic, which important questions remain unanswered, and which pressing issues need urgent attention. The goal is to provide a state-of-the-art summary of both basic and clinical aspects of a disease. We view Compendia as a one-stop shop for basic, translational, and clinical investigators who wish to gather a comprehensive assessment of a problem. Accordingly, we hope that Compendia will provide a valuable resource not only to experts and investigators in the field, but also to nontraditional readers of the journal, such as physicians, cardiology fellows, residents, and medical students.
