Council on Basic Cardiovascular Sciences (BCVS)
Message from the Chair
Welcome to the Basic Cardiovascular Council (BCVS) of the American Heart Association (AHA). I am truly privileged to serve as the Chair of the Council to promote the mission of AHA. In 1999, the Circulation Council merged with the Council on Basic Science to form BCVS. Since then, it has become one of the largest councils at AHA and one of the largest organizations in cardiovascular sciences globally.
